Chocolate Covered Oranges
This recipe is super quick + decadently delicious! It also happens to be a luxurious + healthy choice when it comes to sweet treats :)
RECIPE
1 CUP OF DARK CHOCOLATE (OR VEGAN CHOCOLATE) - CHIPS OR CHUNKS
1 TBSP OF COCONUT OIL
ORANGE SEGMENTS, STRAWBERRIES, NUTS, BANANA SLICES, RICE CRACKERS ...or whatever you would like to dip!
Heat a pot of water on the stovetop and place a bowl in it. Into the bowl place the chocolate and the coconut oil. Stir often until fully melted.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper (this is a MUST so all of your chocolate doesn't stick).
Using toothpicks, dip each item 1/2 way into your chocolate mixture and then place on cookie sheet. Once you have filled the cookie sheet with your dipped items, place it in the freezer for 10 min to harden the chocolate coating.
Simply remove items from cookie sheet, arrange on a beautiful or fun plate and ENJOY!!
